Terms of Service
Effective date: [DATE — set before publishing]
These are the terms for using the Spiralen app and website. They are meant to be short and readable. By using Spiralen you agree to them.
The service
Spiralen is a personal tracker for principles, habits, tasks and goals. You need an account to use it, and your use is personal and non-commercial. Your content remains yours.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Spiralen offers a monthly subscription ($1.99/month), an annual subscription ($14.99/year), and a lifetime one-time purchase ($39.99). Prices may vary by region and are shown in the store before you buy.
- New users get a 7-day free trial with full access.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account, and renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime. The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-transferable license for the app for as long as we offer it; it is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their store policies.
Your responsibilities
Keep your sign-in method secure, and don't attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits.
Termination
You can stop using Spiralen and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
No warranty; limitation of liability
Spiralen is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — set before publishing], excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If we change these terms materially we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
